My involvement in youth, community, civil society, leadership, and public policy platforms has shaped my interest in law, society, governance, and youth development.
Through various organisations and public engagement opportunities, I have been exposed to community work, civic participation, policy discussion, leadership development, and youth-related initiatives in Johor and Malaysia. These experiences continue to influence my reflections on legal issues, social development, public affairs, and the role of young people in nation-building.

Through my involvement with Persatuan Belia Xiang Lian Malaysia Cawangan Negeri Johor, I have participated in youth, community, cultural, and public engagement initiatives aimed at strengthening youth participation, civic awareness, community connection, and cultural identity among young Malaysians, particularly within the Johor Chinese youth community.
通过参与马来西亚宗乡青联合总会（柔佛州分会），本人参与了多项青年事务、社区活动、文化交流及公共参与相关工作，致力于推动青年参与、公民意识、社区联系及文化认同，尤其是在柔佛州华裔青年社群中促进更积极的社会参与。

My participation in Dewan Muda Johor provided exposure to public policy discussion, youth representation, state development issues, and legislative-style debate. Through this platform, I was involved in discussions concerning Johor’s economic direction, youth development, investment facilitation, consumer affairs, and human capital development.
通过参与柔佛青年议会（Dewan Muda Johor）的经历，让我有机会接触公共政策讨论、青年代表机制、州属发展课题，以及类似立法程序的辩论形式。在这个平台，我参与了有关柔佛经济方向、青年发展、投资便利化、消费者事务及人力资本发展的讨论。

My participation in Johor leadership development platform has strengthened my understanding of public service, institutional governance, leadership responsibility, and youth participation in state development. These experiences have also deepened my appreciation of discipline, communication, teamwork, and strategic thinking in public-facing roles.
通过参与柔佛领导力与公共服务平台的经历，加深了我对公共服务、制度治理、领导责任，以及青年参与州属发展的理解。这些经验也让我更加重视在公共角色中所需要的纪律、沟通能力、团队合作精神与战略思维。
Community, Civic & Civil Society Engagement
Beyond formal positions, I have participated in various community, civic, and civil society programmes involving youth organisations, community leaders, public institutions, and social stakeholders. These engagements have allowed me to observe how policy, community needs, leadership, and public communication interact in real life.
除了正式职务之外，本人也参与了多项社区、公民社会及公共交流活动，接触青年组织、社区领袖、公共机构及社会各界代表。这些经验让我更真实地观察政策、社区需求、领导力及公共沟通之间的互动关系。
Reflection
These experiences have shaped my belief that meaningful public participation does not only happen through formal institutions, but also through consistent community engagement, responsible discussion, youth empowerment, and constructive civic contribution.
They continue to influence my writing on law, society, youth development, governance, and public affairs.
这些经历让我相信，有意义的公共参与并不只发生在正式制度之中，也体现在持续的社区参与、理性讨论、青年赋能及建设性的公民贡献当中。这些经验也持续影响我对法律、社会、青年发展、治理及公共事务的写作与思考。
